ART AWARDS 2008

Joan Bakewell to champion EAC Over 60s Art Awards.

The presence of Joan Bakewell CBE, broadcaster and writer, will help raise the profile of this well-loved national competition open to all amateur artists over 60, sponsored by Earnley Concourse - Leisure interest activities & conferencing facilities, Peverel / Retirement Homesearch - Retirement housing management and estate agency service, and Retirement Plus – Equity release products for older homeowners. Other organisations, housing and care home providers, will also sponsor special prizes.

The exhibition: from 2 to 7 September 2008, approximatley 100 finalist’s works will be exhibited at a new venue: the Bankside Gallery, 48 Hopton Street, London SE1 9HJ. Joan Bakewell will present the prizes at this year Private View on the early evening of 2nd September.
